Its best to get caught up in the crowds and wonder without a plan…Check out the LancasterARTS website and choose your own adventure.
We do not want to use this site to push our own events, BUT we couldn’t resist giving a sneak peek of our show for tonight. We are welcoming David Mazure to Lancaster. David is a professor at Eastern Tennessee University who lives and works in North Carolina. His work is tightly rendered, and beautiful. You can read his artist statement on The Infantree Gallery site.

Why Lancaster?
There’s something energizing and exciting about living and working in Lancaster. It’s like the whole town is in a constant state of expectancy, as if something really meaningful is about to happen. And it does, constantly, but that feeling never goes away. Most people we run into have an intense passion for what they do, love to share ideas, and are completely willing to support one another. That truly doesn’t happen just anywhere.
Lancaster is small enough to allow for close connections, yet large enough to boast a rich history and heritage that unites the community. We all love to tell stories, and we know we’re just continuing the narrative of what’s already been written.
In short, Lancaster is home. We’re unwilling to accept the notion that we have to leave this wonderful place to build our lives and our careers elsewhere. There’s really nowhere else to go.
